Website analytics & privacy

We use first-party analytics to aggregate identifiable traffic sources, page views, menu and booking link clicks, phone and email clicks, and booking requests for which the browser receives a successful result.

Analytics does not store names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, full referrer URLs or form contents. Your current tab temporarily remembers a source category and activity time; after 30 minutes without activity, a new visit is counted. Browsing and booking still work if browser storage is unavailable, though analytics may be incomplete.

The server aggregates statistics by New Zealand date, and reports show at most the last 365 days. Digests of random event identifiers are used for duplicate checks within 48 hours; expired digests and aggregates older than 365 days are removed on subsequent writes. Reports are available only to signed-in administrators.

Sources may be unidentifiable when an app or browser hides referral information. Visits are not unique people; booking requests are not confirmed bookings. These reports do not measure all AI impressions or an AI platform's click-through rate. Analytics is disabled when the browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.
